I love the fuchsia ones by Nine West, as well as the Edelmans. However, what the feature fails to mention is that the thin soles--flexible as they may be--are usually very hard on your feet, especially when you pound the pavement (you know I'm right!) It takes a higher-end shoe or brand to compensate for this shortcoming of ballet flats (the flimsy sole)--which is why I'm VERY suspicious of those $19-ones!

I just love flats, they are so comfortable, I don't even want to go back wearing heels again.

Yeah, I believe flat shoes isnt over yet.. I still find them fashionable and the best thing about flat shoes is that you're free from strain and you can used them at any occasion at any time of the day..

And if you're tall (like me at 5'9"), putting on heels means towering over almost everyone else (not always a bad thing). But flat is where it's at most days. I just bought these arty Cydwoq shoes called the Pave, which I love, love, love. Did I say love? LOVE. I know they're funky, but they're right up my alley and so comfortable. I got them from Ped Shoes, which has a few other flat styles I'll post below. But, first, my lovely Pave:

I also like Cydwoq's little tongue-less lace-up ankle boot called the Seat:

And, if you're feeling super funky and cutting-edge, why not this Schnecke style from Trippen:
