Okay, I admit it. The dialogue is superficial and the story line unbelievable, but I do like checking out the fashion on the new show Gossip Girl.

I love Serena's affordable Chinese Laundry boots. Of course, I'm not sure if I could pull off the look, seeing as I don't have mile long legs like Blake Lively (she plays Serena).

I am a sucker for thigh-high boots (or at least above the knee). I always love them and always covet them. But I have to keep telling myself that my legs are just not long enough to pull them off. My legs are short in overall proportion to my body, so I need to wear things that lengthen them. A short skirt and over-the-knee boots are not going to help me in that department. Ah well. I love plenty of fashion trends that I know won't work on my body.
