Blue velour towering boots

I never 'got' these boots. They seem to have quite a following, judging by the comments on Zappos, but I still can't comprehend how one actually walks in them...and lives. Plus, they may be unique, but they're bit of an overkill for me. I guess I should be thankful they're now over 50% off, going for only.....$1275. A real bargain!!!
