Which is best – Jimmy Choo or Manolo Blahnik?
Can anyone tell me the difference between these two in terms of styles and comfort, etc. Is one more fashionable/a better shoe maker than the other?
Thanks!

I do not own either at this point. They are both considered to be 'high end' or premium designers, which generally puts them in the luxury price range. My understanding is that Blahnik's were almost a fashion 'secret' for ladies in the know - prior to SATC. They both have excellent reputations for style and quality. As for comfort, what I have found is that feet are shaped so differently from person to person that if at all possible you need to get an opportunity to go out & treat yourself to an all-day shopping exploration of the designers and styles you are drawn to. Since each designer has their own set of 'lasts' (shoe forms), the fit can vary drastically for each individual.
Perhaps one of the folks on here who has had an opportunity to try on these designers could give some more detailed information on their fit & general shape (ie, narrow, true to size/TTS, high or low arch, etc).
It's all about preference! I like both Choo and Blahnik, different styles you know. When I go to say Neiman's I head in the direction of the shoe that catches my attention sometimes it's not either it's a Louboutin or someone else. As far as comfort well that depends on the inches of the heel and how long you're standing, but again some people have no problem. Gee my sister wears stilettos all day, moi? Only if it's an open toe shoe, I find it works best for my feet!
Depends on your preferences.. honestly I tend to go with the shoe I like based on the appearance, not necessarily the designer.
To preface, I've only tried them on..I do not own either. I like the Manolo better but from shoe to shoe I'm sure it changes.
I own both and I would say that it all depends on the type of shoe/sandal/boot.. etc...
I just bought Jimmy Choos Satin Sling Back Sandals for my wedding and boy, they feel like slippers! I walked around in them in my house for 2 hours.. :)

WOW - What a question. I sell both Manolo's and Jimmy Choo. This season I think that as far as looks, Manolo has a slight edge. We have a few awesome boots and some great dressy sandals that are so sexy. I think that since the "Sex and The City" movie, Manolo has stepped up their game. As for Jimmy Choo the shoes are a little more classic this season but their boots and handbags are "to die for". :D
Can we add Johnathan Kayne to this discussion? Love Love Love his shoes!
i think Jimmy Choo is much better. but which is best depend on your own opinion
