I received them a week after I ordered (they came from China) and I have to say, I'm pretty impressesd. Yes, the are fake... I know, I know, it's terrible to buy fakes. They are pretty good though. Well constructed and came perfectly packaged. With close inspection you can see a bit of glue where the side meets the sole and the shoe interior is not patent leather. |

I personally still can't support fakes.
I just can't see the reasoning of spending $$$ on fakes. There's the trademark theft, often sweatshops, and insane overpricing. I'd much rather wait a half-season and get a legal 'inspired' style. I've even found non-copy styles from brands like Betsey Johnson that follow the original idea or trend that I actually like more than the higher-end designs. At least then I have a better idea of what I am paying for & know I am not putting money into an illegal enterprise. |

Anyone knows about womenofluxury.com They say it is authentic? Looks too good to be true. Any feedbacks?

Girls who received fakes can you tell us something about their quality??
personally I don't mind buying fakes.I am a student at the university and don't have a job.I don't have $700 to spend on a pair of shoes. I can spend $200 though.I don't want the replicas just to show people I wear louboutin but because I love their patterns.I don't care if they are louboutin. So do they have good quality?as good as any pair of shoes of $200?what about sizing? |

Look at the links in the comments. If you want a good $150 shoe, look at shoes on sale through Amazon, Saks, Zappos, endless and 6pm You will get a better shoe and will have the oportunity to return it if things don't fit well. Last edited by r5bales : 06-10-2009 at 03:23 PM. |

okay, i feel silly asking this question, but i'm making myself very confused! i bought my first pair of louboutins at the store in paris. i then bought a second at a neiman marcus last call (orig. $1030 and i got them for $323!!!).
third pair, i ordered from net-a-porter.com. i brought them home today and noticed that the box is different than the other two boxes; it's a bit smaller, and it has the louboutin signature printed on the smaller edges of the lid. the other two are bare on the edges. i know that net-a-porter is a reputable site, but i'm still nervous! does anyone know if CL has 2 different box styles, or has changed the box at some point? i know i should just take them into the CL store here and ask them, but i'm so scared they'll say they're fakes and i'll feel like a jerk! any insight is much appreciated; love this forum, btw... |

Im worried.....I received a pair of Christian Louboutins yesterday - purchased from ebay (inddividual seller, claiming they were the wrong size and given as a present), they look perfect EXCEPT they have a plastic covering over the leather sole - is this standard or could I have purchased a fake pair??
I reckon I must have to remove the plastic but am a little apprehensive as to whether it will damage the soles?? Any advise is greatly appreciated - to remove the plastic protection or not??? |

I can't confirm the box info. But, all of your retailers are reputable with solid return policies. I would compare the actual shoes to each other in quality. My understanding from several ladies who own CL's is that the quality of handmade stitching & high fabric/materials quality are obviously superior on authentic CL's. Fakes often are off in color or poorly died, are most likely glued togther & are overall a lower quality. Now, some imperfections can happen with hand-made shoes, but if you find an authentic CL is defective in some way, I have not heard of any women who had problems getting rerunds or exchanges via Saks, NM, Net-a-porter, etc.\\** SO lucky on your last call. It's always size 6 & 10 at the end. I'm in the middle & never find that kind of deal.
