    Question Project 501

Anyone check out the project 501 website?

Here is my design. Gulp. (listed as 'Retrokini)
    The Gallery Page - Levi'sŪ Project501

The main page is LevisStore.com: The Official Levi's Jeans Store

I've been going stir crazy waiting for my home to close & am sharing a 2-bed mini suite with hubby & 3 kids. Its been in the 30 - 40 degree zone since we moved out here & it's snowing right now. So, maybe that explains why I woke up the day after this week's Project Runway with a summer outfit in my head.

I've never really 'put myself out there' like this before, so we'll see how thick skinned I am. I don't really expect be in the top by the time all the submissions are in, but we'll see how many catty comments I get. One way or the other, I'll probably make some version of the top for myself - it's got lots of nostalgia for the 90 degree summers I spent as a teenager rafting down the American River.

If you like it, register on the site & give me a positive 'rivet rating' (best is a 5) & comment. If not, well, as we've all seen from the personalities here, taste & style is a very personal thing. I've always been curvy & the design reflects that.

There is also at least one entry that is an actual denim shoe. Some of you might enjoy that.

Come to think of it, what shoe would you pair with this design?

    Ta for now.

    Very cute, galligator! Well done.

Thanks. I've had a few peaks now & looks like this is a love it or hate it style. There are so many submissions now, not sure if folks are really gonna bother wading through it all without a little denim burnout.

Fun for fashion fans & sewing types, though.
