I actually really liked it. I wasn't really fond of the message that if you aren't a size 4 you're fat. Heck, most size 10 ladies I know still fit the definition of slim but healthy.

Other than that, I thought it was really entertaining. I have 'fallen' into most of my jobs & found that I was very good at keeping others organized - whether as a dispatcher or a project team lead. So, I identified with coming into a job with no clue & really finding your place. Only, if it had been me, I probably would have wound up cutting loose the jealous and unsympathetic friends who couldn't find any way to be happy with my job success. If I find work that I'm really good at & fulfills me, it is part of my self-identity and means a lot to me.

Yes it was a really good movie. Rare finding bosses that treat employees well and giving them a chance.

In a million years, I never though i'd enjoy this. It was on HBO the other day. Loved it. Okay, maybe that's a stretch, but it was good.

I think it's a fantastic movie. Meryl Streep is flawless, of course. I read the book before the movie came out and it's great as well!
