Default Can you judge a man by his shoes?

They say you can't judge a book by its cover, but can you judge a man by his shoes?* Shoeologist Donna Sozio, author of the book "Never Trust a Man in Alligator Loafers" says that you can.

Now I was pretty impressed with Donna evaluations of my man's shoes (you can read the review here) so I thought it would be nice if the rest of us could benefit as well and participate in a fun discussion.

Submit your man's shoe pictures on this thread and Donna will do her best to give you her predictions.* Note: Not all posts will be answered, but maybe the rest of us can chime in too and give our two cents.

I thought this was very interesting. I should also state that I'm a guy, and I kinda judge the women I'm with by the shoes they wear. I guess, in some ways, that could be weird and sexist, but hey, if women are judging me by my own shoes, then I think it's okay. I need to take a pic of my shoes, and post them up here.

Yeah, well a little. His shoes may tell you - how well he takes care of himself, what his style is, how important material things are to him, if he is rich/poor.
According to an popular opinion research 'Studying a guy's footwear tells you a lot about him--most importantly, whether or not he's someone you want to know better.'

Of course you can. This is one of the first things I take a look of when I met someone.
I can meet a really HOT guy and, if his shoes are dirty, broken or too used, I will just run away from him.
I also hate people wearing fake clothing and cheap shoes. Or even most, hate guys wearing suits with non-matching/dirty shoes.

Yes... maybe I'm a little picky with this matter, but shoes say a lot about people!

I started reading this book, didn't find anything to apply to me, so I lost interest in it.
When I was dating, I didn't notice men's really nice shoes, but I did notice if the shoes were terrible worn out. I once quit dating a man who wore the worst worn out shoes in the world. They were cracked through and repaired with duct tape. They were truly awful.

Sorry to bring this down to a 'practical' level .................. :-)
I'm a senior male, of an age when liking having things last a long time, work well, stay in decent shape and do the job intended. Not trying to impress or un-impress anybody; have finally found two models of shoes that fit that category.
The first pair are still in fairlygood shape but will need replacing soon. The second pair are more worn and am presently usng them to climb ladders while repairing my house; mainly because the soles are strong enough for comfort on the rungs, without putting on my heavy steel toed safety work boots.
BUT! Despite searching the internet using various formats, going back to the retailer and posting messsgaes I can't find either of the following.
    1) BUM Equipment. Style Jo, size 10W Shoe number 112F6. ish I'd bought two pairs at the time.
    2) BUM Equipment. Style Timothy, size 10. I did buy two pairs of these and this is the second pair starting to be (like all of us)! on their way out.
One would think with specifications as exact as that one some internet search engine could winkle out and find a source SOMEWHERE on the www??????
Any 'specific' help or advice finding a source for these would be most appreciated.
