So I'm really tempted to purchase these Donald Pliner slides since they are only $34. I'm not sure that I like the double knots or style, but the price is making the shoes very tempting.
Should I jump on this? The only sizes available are 6.5AA and 7AA (in taupe). If they don't fit, I can always return them at the NM B&M. ![]() |

I was wondering about those, too (of course, I'm a 10, so ... well.) I much prefer the single knot myself, in fact I have a Donald Pliner slide with a single knot and a similar heel (slightly higher), in black, and they were a great purchase--dressy but very comfy, great to wear at a wedding.
There are a few similar options on Shoes.com, but they cost about double (still a great sale). The plus side? Available in just about all sizes. Here's the link: Donald J Pliner Women's Hare Shoe - Free Shipping

They look like they'd be cuter on. Plus, $34? That's one night's dinner eating out -- almost pocket change for an excellent brand? Esp. if you can return them, I say do it.
