It's no secret that I LOVE DSW Shoes and last weekend I found yet another reason to love them more.

Check this out....I found these Stuartz Weitzman pumps for only $40!!!! They were staring at me at the additional 80% off racks. At first, I thought they must be damaged, misplaced, or maybe even mislabelled, but luckily nothing was wrong with them. As icing on the cake, I used my $10 DSW Rewards points so the shoes were only $30!

Can you believe my luck? They are currently on "sale" at Saks for 195 (down from $280)


Oh, I also saw the same pair in a size 6.5. I was at the Torrance, CA store so maybe one of you can snag it.

Since Xmas is all about sharing, I thought I would share one of my DSW shopping secrets.

Every few months, DSW does a promo where you get a $10 bonus card w/ every $50 gift card purchase. What I do is purchase a $50 gift card and "gift" it to myself. Later, I'll go back to DSW when the bonus card is valid and use both the gift card and $10 bonus card. It's like getting $60 worth of merchandise for $50. Of course, it's only worthwhile if you don't lose the gift card and it is does require me to keep track of when the bonus card is valid, but that's my savings tip for the day. At the very worst, even if I miss the bonus card days, I always end up having some shoes to buy.
