Shoeblog Spring Shoe Contest - Post your old shoes to enter

To celebrate the beginning of spring, we are giving one lucky ShoeBlog reader a chance to do a little spring cleaning shoe-wise.

Here's how the contest works. Normally, on this forum, we post shoes that we lust for or we display proud new additions to our shoe family. To incentivize our readers to start spring cleaning, enter our spring shoe giveaway by posting a picture an old pair of shoes that you haven't thrown away yet but probably should.

One winner will be randomly selected from the set of smelly, old shoes that are posted. To make it easier to part with the old shoes, the winner gets to pick a pair of new Pierre Hardy for Gap shoes (any style be it the nude flat, the Chloe-like platforms, etc) from the online Gap store. It's almost spring so, as the saying goes, "Out with the old, in with the new"...new shoe that is! If the winner's preferred style,size isn't available at the end of the contest, a $100 gift certificate to Endless.com will be gifted to the winner instead.

Deadline to post your old shoe entry: Midnight PST, March 31st, 2008.

These are scary - be warned.
I loved these shoes - black quilted ballet flats from Aldo - and I wore them to death, but I kept wearing them because they were so comfortable... despite the holes!
Then I wore them on a snowy day - dumb idea. They got soaked... and then the next day they looked like this!
The worst part is, instead of throwing them out, as any normal person would have done by now, I can't bear to part with them, and am hoping that I can get the salt out!
I think I need some new shoes (or a wake-up call...)

Evil flower shoes. Really. Went to my daughter's soccer game recently & was back at my car within five minutes to get a band-aid for the gaping wound on my heel. Glad I didn't pay full price for the honor of having my flesh chewed up by a ballet flat. OUCH. Love the fabric but the matching handbag I found will have to go out solo now.

My old pink Converse high tops. I wore them to death in high school and college, but just can't bear to part with them yet. The faded writing you can still sort of make out on the left one was penned in the midst of some deep angsty rage, I believe.

these are my favorite pair of the sneakers which are so much comfortable but so much old and smelly also...i should throw them away now, ya?

I bought these on sale last year from payless...I've gotten many compliments on it because I used to wear these with different colred socks like pink or striped etc which gave different look to it....

Hi, these aren't as old age-wise, but I have worn them like a million times, and the glitter is coming off, but I cant part with them. They are my favorite flats

Oops! It seems I posted on the wrong page first...

This pair of boots served me well for long cold winters when I was an undergrad in Pennsylvania, but the heel is worn, the leather is scuffed and the zippers are coming apart. Time to get rid of them and make room for new shoes!

I bought these shoes from EBH, a popular shoe stoe in Pakistan. I wore these slipers so many times because they are cute but now they are getting really dirty and its time to get rid of them.
