I have this pair of shoes:

My mum's used alcohol in the past and says it works like a charm, but I'm a little worried... If I use alcohol inside, will it stain/discolor the suede? |

I would be very careful with suede. If you destroy the nap finish, it is too hard to repair. Can you check with a local cobbler. They can either professionally stretch the toe-box for you, or recommend a gentle solution to help with the stretching process.

I'm currently stretching a pair of suede flats by wearing a white thick sock in them. I can feel a difference in about an hour, and I will stretch them more. No alcohol needed!

A simple shoe stretcher does wonders!
