How Long Do Heel Tips Last?

i am hoping that someone can advise me about heel tips. i am due to buy a pair of PLEASER DELIGHT 609 stiletto heels that i intend to wear to do a 10 mile sponsored walk. can anyone tell me how many miles a pair of heel tips will last on this style. would it be advisable to change them for steel tips. i done a 5 mile walk in a pair of PLEASER XTC 826 and the standard heels (chunky) hardly showed any signs of wear at all. any help will be appreciated

Do you plan on wearing these shoes after the walk? Pleasers are not known for their quality but for their visual impact. If they were my shoes, I would probably not mess with it. But I would probably only be wearing the shoes once or twice after the walk - only for visual impact.

I normally have to wear a shoe pretty much constantly for months before the tips wear out. Wear is also higher if you pronate at all when you walk.

Do steel tips have traction? I have this mental picture of that steel tipped stiletto slipping out from under me every time it hits the ground. A little frightening.

It depends on how heavy you areon your feet and how often you wear them .
