Default I Need your Help Making my Dream Boot!!

Ok, So I found this pair of boots that would literally sell my Soul to Own!!
Only I can't afford to sell it...The boots on Sale 60% off total to a whopping $760. It really makes me want to cry. So after several nights dreaming of me wearing these, I am deterimed (with the help of a good cobbler) to recreate these boots.
I can't seem to find a good base boot to start with. They need to be up to the knee or they will not look right. They also need to be very baggy to get the cinch look down.
The buckles I have researched and found they were a very popular style in the 80's and Doc Marten used them on a lot of shoes. But I still can't seem to find them. But I don't have a good source for Boot Buckles!!
I would Love Love Love if anyone could help me out,
    Thanks a million!!!
    Cristi

Well, if these wind up with a legal knockoff made, it will be a while before they show up. Most common brands that copy runway styles are Steve Madden, Pour La Victoire, Pelle Moda, Oh Deer! and occasionally, Nine West.

You are going to have trouble finding a close knockoff of such a distinctive trademark as the Thomas Wylde skulls. You may actually be best off tucking away $30 or whatever you can afford every payday & putting in an ebay auction alert that emails to you.

I do know that you can find other 'Paper bag boots' at Zappos & endless. Maybe if you found one of those on sale you could craft yourself some similar wrap around straps with stampings from a craft store to get a similar effect on a budget?

Other options are finding a bootmaker who can make you a pair of custom boots, but that gets pricey, too.

It really should be easy to find a pair of "Paper bag Boots" and skull buckles, take them to my Boot Guy and end up with my own fabulous Knock offs but its not.
I searched all of Zappos and other sites and I cant seem to find a Boot (with buckles or with) that has this look.
I also checked ebay for buckles but there isn't anything, All Belt buckles that are too big and still don't look like these buckles.
I used to live in NYC and I know there are stores in the Fashion District that carry a huge variety of Buckles, I was hoping someone knew a place online that had something similar. Basically an online place to buy shoe buckles.
Also looking for someone that can help my find a boot that looks like this without the buckles or different buckles that I can replace.
I'm really hoping that I can find them!
I am completely obsessed with having these boots!
    Thanks!!

I will keep an eye out for similar boot silhouettes.

    Worst case:

You may be able to make something semi-custom once you find a base boot that is similar. After that, worst-case is to have a local jewelery-smith make lost-wax castings for the buckles. Even custom-made castings in a base metal should come in well below the $700 mark.

Hopefully, things will slow down for me enough over the next week or so for me to dedicate an hour or so to the hunt on this. I'm pretty good on style-hunting specific shapes at the various shoe sites.

Here is a similar pair for $99 at Overstock. They might be close enough to make some dye & buckle alterations to get a one of a kind variation of the skull boot you liked.

Here's a brown MBMJ with a similar base shape, it would probably need to be dyed
