hello everyone, just a quick question regarding the sizing of steve madden shoes.

i have very small feet, a true size 5. i have never bought a pair of steve madden shoes, primarily for the reason that they don't always have size 5s available (rarely actually). i am considering getting a pair of steve maddens in a 5.5 although i am a true 5. they are the gold glittery 'caryssa' style.

they are exactly what i want for this new year's eve so i might just get them 1/2 size too big because im sure it wont make an enormous difference. i can probably just put in a gel insert or foot petal to help them fit better if need be.

my question is, for anyone who buys steve madden shoes regularly, how would you describe the accuracy of their sizing in comparison to other brands....do you find them to be a bigger or smaller fit than average, if any difference at all? do you usually buy the same size in all your SM shoes? do you think ordering 1/2 size bigger than normal will make a huge difference?
