TaylorMade R11 Irons Fit A Large Segment Of Handicap Levels
Not just another day at the office, today I found a box from TaylorMade that peaked my interest. Inside was an addition to the TaylorMade Fitting Cart: the brand new R11 iron.
The R11 iron, of course, follows on the heels of TMaG’s popular R11 driver. TMaG says the taylormade r11 irons are engineered with multiple technologies that make them easy to launch high and long.
Players who don’t like too much offset will find the look at address to be simple and traditional. In fact they look very clean considering all the technology that’s present so anyone looking for a player’s profile at address will find it in the taylormade r11 irons price. The top line is fairly unobtrusive although not “thin”.
With the size of the taylormade r11 irons for sale, I was expecting a large face area that would be soft all over the face, but I don’t believe these irons actually have it. When struck well, the iron feel great, just as they should, but mishits are where feel really counts. I was playing with some Xstiff C-tapers and on thin shots are where I had the biggest issue.
The taylormade r11 irons australia may be irons that fit a large segment of handicap levels, but do have a limit. If your ball striking is still a work in progress, look elsewhere. That said, mid to low handicappers will find a lot to like in this iron. They’re versatile, long and feel about as good as a cast iron can feel on good strikes.
The Inverted Cone Technology seemed to be accurate in its efforts to widen the sweet spot on the face, since I wasn’t losing major yardage when hitting balls off of the heel and toe of the club. It still didn’t feel as well off of these mishits as I would have liked though. The sound of these cheap taylormade r11 irons is very pure through impact as well. There is nothing better to boost some confidence than hearing that PGA compression on your own shot!
They have a nice feel for a cavity back and are solid performers even on mis-hits. If you're a TaylorMade fan checking these out is a no brainer.
