Wooden shoes, in my opinion, should only be put on displays and not on our feet. I don't think I can walk with wooden shoes for a very long time. It would surely hurt.

Sounds uncomfortable, unless the inside is lined with something soft!

I wear wooden sole shoes periodically. Surprisingly, they are kinder on my feet than many soft soled shoes I have. This is why. They seem to absorb alot of the force the bottom of your foot feels as it hits the ground. You do have to learn how to "rock" as you walk, so your gait is similar to a wedge platform and the force on your foot is minimized.

Most of my wood soled shoes have been clogs or slide type heels. But I do have a couple of wood soled Dr. Scholls, these slides sort of look like them. They sort of work like a heavier flip flop, so if you can handle a stiff flip flop you can handle these.

I wouldn't be too afraid of them.

There is a terrrifc website called "ShoesUSA.com" which is the only place (outside a vintage shop) I've every seen truly sexy wooden-soled shoes. They have mules, clogs, and great boots, of varying platforms and heel heights, and even a "build your own boot" page! The prices are a liiiiiittle steep, roughly $300 a pair, but if like me you remember your big sister and her girlfriends all having those great wooden slides back in the 80s, this is the only place to still buy them. I've tried online vintage stuff, but the soles are usually too worn. I must mention I haven't ordered from them yet, can anyone else comment on their service? I did talk to one of their clerks about getting a higher heel with a lower platform, but she said special orders are *very* expensive...

I do not know exactly what happened to the battery, but if you need a new, buy one with the highest possible Kapzit?t.Also the higher the capacity - the longer you can use the device until it has to be recharged. The charging time is extended maintains it. rip dvd for mac I have to be at home more than 1000 books in my shelves. Which could theoretically all fit on a Kindle or iPad. It sounds a tempting hand to lend the other hand, often friends of my books from. That would be any more. Also the unique flair, the book radiates in my opinion, is different if, instead of old pig leather and parchment spine just stands there, a single plastic box. How is it to things? Is this just what kind of people who read mainstream Lala-books? Who wants to buy 1,000 books?

I fully agree. Well crafted wooden soles are moer comfortable and equally elegant. Go for wooden soles, but go for a trusted brand.
