I am in the process of shopping for my wedding shoes. I like high heals at least 3 inches but I want to be comfortable all day. Does anyone know of a comfortable elegant shoe that would look good with a white lace gown? Thanks.

Hi HiHeelsOnly:
First, congratulations on the engagement and upcoming nuptials. I'm getting married too and have been looking for the right wedding shoe.
Here's a few questions to help me narrow down your search
- any fabric preferences? satin?
- any styles that you like (peeptoe, slinkback, mule)?
- color choices?
- budget
I'm planning on wearing 4" inch shoes but they are platforms to help me walk.
you are going married......congratulation on you !!
Congratulations! What color do you prefer? white, beige, grey or silver?
Congratulations hiheelsonly!!
I always go for Naturalizer when I need heels, they make their shoes so they give support and they usually feel great on the feet. Check out Vinney in white leather with a 2 1/4" heel--a bit lower than your usual preference, but still quite stunning.
I can't post links or images yet, but these are on naturalizer dot com under dress shoes.
Then there's my back-up, Easy Spirit; Lavena in white leather or silver is quite nice...of course, this is all speculative to your taste!!! Try looking for it under dress shoes on easyspirit dot com
And if you are wearing a white lace dress, here are some white lace shoes. These are actually flats, though. Still, they'd be comfy, and if they match...it could be a match made in heaven! Just like we hope your marriage is :)
Try natashascafe dot com and click on the White shoes on their color wheel, the white lace will be there.
Best wishes!

I got married years ago when I couldn't afford them, but still love the Peter Fox wedding shoe collections. Just gorgeous & wearable.

Congrats :), The first thing you should do when shoe shopping is go to your local shoe store. Not a department store (unless it's an upscale department store like Nordstrom's or Bloomingdale's), but a store that specializes in shoes. There will be people at these stores that can fit you so you'll know what size shoe you should buy. Find a style that fits you well and know the size you wear and then you can go comparison shop for the shoe, both online and off line. When you find the exact same shoe at the best price, buy it.
Check in shopping search engines to get that perfect shoe which goes well with your gown and comfortable at the same time... I got some here, hope I'll get them sometime
