i NEED A SHOE CLOSET - HELP.

im sure everyone of you has seen the sex & the city movie - and im sure everyone of you was just as jelous as i was when i saw carries awesome shoe closet.
i would love to have such a closet, too. but its not possible to insert such a walk-in-closet in my room... but does anyone know another possibility to get a similar closet? is it possible to buy one or do i have to build one or whatever? any ideas? thank you, valentina

Do you have an extra room or a unused linen closet that you could expand? Or, an attached garage that you could 'steal' space from? Here in the states we have closet/storage stores such as California Closets which will do all the work for you. Otherwise, there are a lot of wood or wire-rack systems that can be installed by anyone who is marginally handy with tools - at a fraction of the cost that a contractor would be. In our last house, we re-did at least one closet with a ready-to-install system that we purchased from Home Depot or Lowes.

why don't you hired some one who knows how to make closets inside your home. I know that there are people who can make this thing.

the problem is: i'm from germany & i don know anyone here who makes it (i'm sure there r people who do somethin like that but i don know).
is it also possible to buy a kinda stylish shoe closet? maybe anyone knows a website or anythin else in germany?

Hi Vallibu I have a similar problem and am in the UK but after browsing through these great forums here came across a post and after seeing this fab wheel searched for it in the UK and came across my own personal nirvana. As someone who has a shoe collection to rival Imelda and Carrie's I needed as much storage as possible. These guys have an awesome range of shoe storage. Have now bought a shoe wheel which actually is anything but junky, a wall of clear shoe boxes and a shoe rack for our laundry. They also have fantastic handbag storage products.
