I'm dying for some warm boots. I'm in Chicago and it's FREEZING. I've been wearing hiking boots b/c my old boots died.
I need your help- best, warmest boots (that can handle snow!). Thoughts? Thanks! Julie iD Tech Camps Rules! |

I've started to see some heeled, attractive uggs. Actually, I don't judge anyone for their choice of warm footwear in icy temps, but I will never understand Uggs in temperate climates - One of fashion's sillier trends.
I've also looked at La Canadienne & other brands that have shearling/fur linings. In most cases, natural fur & shearling are warmer than man-made insulations. |

I still wear my UGGS. They are so cute, warm and comfy!
![]() I usually wear them around the house or when I'm out running errands. |

I agree they are GREAT for more northern states... but when I see them down here in Texas all over the feet of 80% of college girls.. everyone looks ridiculous! lol! They sure are soft and warm though.
