I shop both online and in-stores. At this time of year it will be tough for you to find stock in stores, so I would recommend trying some websites such as endless that have free returns. Always check out the shipping & returns policy if you are not familiar with the brand you are trying.

the most perfect boot out there is the Fiorentini & Baker 7040 - Eternity 3 buckle boot! It is amazing! It gets better & better every time I wear them. They are meant to last forever. The sole of the boot has a great rubber tread to absorb shock when you are on your feet all day. This boot comes in a low or a stacked heel - BOTH are awesome!
I got the low version last year in black & this year I am going to get the high! WORTH every penny!

Would Gal's Australian furry boots work? If I didn't live in an area that never gets cold, I would be all over them. Those Fiorentini & Bakers are wonderful.

I can't seem to locate Gal's Australian boots. The Fiorentini & Baker 7040 look nice, but i can't afford that price. Thanks!

I think she's talking about the Australia Love Collective boots that I reviewed about a month ago. If you search 'Australia' on the main blog pages, there is a link to the company website. They do shearling-lined boots that are wearable from around freezing to 70 degrees (depending on your local climate and cold sensitivity).

BTW, what price range are you looking at? Boots are tough to find any lower than $70 on sale and $150 is normal, but these days $300 is not unusual.

If we have an idea of your current range, maybe we can tailor suggestions for you a bit better.

My price range is under $200. I just bought Australia by Marvin K.-slice. Not sure how they will feel or look, but thought i'd give them a try. i'm still open to suggestions even if they don't fit. I'm looking for a boot with a bit of a heel, i'm short, so i need my legs looking longer. Thanks!

Do you know if they have good padding inside to keep feet warm? They are very nice, i like the lace detailing in the back.
