Default Need perfect boot

Hello,
I'm in college, therefore, basically wear sneakers all the time for comfort and ease. I am traveling to Germany for a year for part of my major, and need a boot that will let me walk around the cities in comfort, keep my feet dry and warm, but look somewhat sexy, and be an all purpose boot that will go with everything. Any brand ideas? Thanks!
Sara

Hallo!

I suggest Paul Green - they fit everything you just asked about. They are also very popular in Germany and made in Austria.

Viel Glueck!

I love my Naturalizers. They are comfy, affordable & durable.

Another brand I've had good luck with is Rockport. They are definitely made for walking.

Thank you for the suggestions, so far, i like the naturlizers and the Paul Green(although they are very expensive). Where can i get either in a department store? i want to be able to try them on, but boots aren't really in the stores yet. I also want a good deal, but most of the deals are online, where i can't try them on. Any tips? Any other boots you suggest?

You won't find many boots in-store until fall. But, if you find something you like at endless, they have a great return policy. Just make sure to try them out on carpet in case they need to be returned. If you have other sites you want to buy from, check their return policy. Some have free returns & others don't.

What size are you and do you need wide fit? It's just that I have found this great site which supplies larger sized boots.

I've found a lot of potential boots online. But i don't know which ones to start with, and i'm afraid to take the plunge and buy a pair. Do you recommend going to stores and seeing if you can try them on? Or do you prefer the internet sites like Zappos and Endless?

I'm also having trouble finding boots that are winter/water proof, soemtimes the only way i know they are, are the customer reveiws that say they're good winter boots. Is there another way to know if they're made to keep your feet warm and dry?

Most of the boots i'm looking at are fairly high heeled, more like dress boots for work. Thanks
