    Default Frenchsole.com

I admired all the time Kate Moss' Frenchsole ballerina flats. But there was nothing like this in Vienna/Austria. Last year I found out that there is an Onlinestore from French Sole shoes by Jane Winkworth. The original French Sole shoe company from London (www.frenchsole.com). It works superb! And they have always SALEoffers. I orderd 4 times and had never problems.
TIP: I recognized that the american homepage is called londonsole.com but the shoes are much more expensive.

Today was a great morning. The postman had shoes for me! Could it get better? I'll post the pict later.

A pair of French Sole ballet flats is on my lifetime list of "shoes to buy." I often have trouble with ballet flats, because a) they're so incredibly flat that my feet are unhappy with me and b) my feet are very narrow in the heel but wide at the toes, so the shape of ballet shoes (where they're usually a similar width through the entire length of the shoe) is often hard for me to wear.

But French Soles... well... one day they will be mine.

Also, you can shop at French Sole Shoes, LTD if you're in the US and don't want to pay overseas shipping costs. They have different offerings on their website, though.

These are two completely different companies!
Londonsole and Frenchsole by Jane W. from London have nothing in common wih French Sole Shoes LTD America.
As I do not know the Company in America I'm not able to compare. My posts were only refering the english Company.
    Maybe somebody knows both?

How funny! I've seen plenty of shoes by both and always assumed they were just different lines by the same company. And now I'm not even sure whether the raves I've heard about them apply to the London-based or New York-based company.

I just double-checked, VANmiracle's right: Londonsole and Frenchsole are the creations of Jane Winkworth, and French Shoes Ltd. (based in Manhattan) is a completely different venture. The concept, however, is the same, and the shoes look pretty similar, too, so now I'm dying to discover someone who owns BOTH brands to compare and contrast!

And by the by, I'm thinking now that I own a Manhattan version of the French Sole shoe--still very cute and comfy. Perhaps I should try to get a Jane W. creation for comparison? Perhaps!!!!

Hi. I checked too, but as I found out that this might be an OUCH! theme I was wondering what to write not to blame somebody.
As I am from europe I naturally have only the experience with Jane Winkworth shoes. The pictures of this ballet flats go through the magazines since I was a teenager. Not only because 2 of Englands most famous women, Diana Princess of Wales and Kate Moss always wear/wore this flats and they were mentioned on so much pressphotos.
I only can recommend the english frenchsole-londonsole. They have the classic french ballett look and last for endless walkings, holidays in the sand, ...
Here the photos of my last pair.

VANmiracle, those are EXACTLY the pair I would have picked out from the Frenchsole/Londonsole site. I love them!

Some day, I'll have to try a pair. I'm definitely interested to try both brands now. The USA French Sole shoes with the "hidden wedge" sound like they might be great, too.

I love them too!! I had to try them today on the street. It was such a shiny spring day and I went to one of the oldest Coffeeplaces in Vienna called "Domayer" and had a breakfast on the wooden terrasse. The platin leather on the front was so lovely with the soft yellow nubuck in sun!

Ooo. I'm so jealous. That sounds delightful. A beautiful pair of shoes on a beautiful day in a beautiful place. What a great combination!
