During a recent weekend getaway into the Vegas desert, I thought I saw a mirage. Cruising on the I-15 freeway, my lasiked eyes thought they saw a Zappos outlet sign. Did my eyes deceive me? Surely this wasn't the same Zappos as in the online mega shoe store? I was puzzled and excited at the same time. As soon as I checked into my hotel, I pulled out my trusty laptop (I take it with me anytime I go on trips, nerdy huh?) and googled 'zappos outlet las vegas' and found this article about the Zappos outlet and West coast return center. Eureka, I had hit the jackpot and I hadn't even started gambling!
A mere fifteen minutes later (would have been faster if there wasn't a bit of traffic getting back onto the freeway), I was in the store and in 20,000 pair of shoes heaven. There were approximately three very long rows of shoes in my size and all at very reduced prices. On average, I calculated a discount of 30-50% off retail prices, which isn't too shabby. There is also a designer area with more limited selection of shoes. (Shoesense, I made sure to take pictures of the Taryn Rose shoes I found for you. They were averaging in the $200-$250 price range in case you were interested.) Best of all, I could finally try on the shoes I wanted without feeling guilty about pouncing on my delivery guy. In case you are wondering, even though I must have spent over an hour browsing and trying on shoes, I did not find anything to purchase. However, I would still say a trip to the Zappos outlet is worthwhile and memorable.P.S. If you ever intend to visit, the Zappos outlet does NOT have a bathroom so please go before you visit. Also, there are a bunch of free Las Vegas magazines found in the hotel room and in tourist centers where I found $10 off $50 or 10% off you purchase at the Zappos outlet. |

LOL... I keep saying the same thing. I do love Zapp... they've gotten me some things no one else could "Clarks Indigo Persian Black" Luv!!!
But their markups on certain styles are pretty pronounced. And their free shipping ain't. Spring Step Fawn, we retailed this, until a corporate price increase eight weeks ago, at 69.99, nowwe sell for 79.99. Zapp sells for 94. I love zapp for its reviews, graphics, no hassle returns, and utter variety. But price is price. Endless rocks, as does shoesonashoestring. Or, if you're into bricks and mortar, and in PA, come see me at moyers shoes, suburban philly. we stock uggs mini, all make and manner of children's stride rites, even exclusive brands that prohibit online sales! 1-800-539-7463 moyers-shoes.com |
