If you go to a reputable site...sites like Amazon, Endless, shoes.com & Zappos have established return policies. Always check the site reputation & return policies before making a purchase. If there is a return shipping fee, I consider that as a premium in the price of the shoe when making a buy decision.

Yes i bought some from the Base London Website earlier, they have a really interesting part called the gentlemen's club in where you can browse videos and get fashion tips from them on what to wear with there shoes. Although it wasn't neccessary relevent it was a cool idea and kept me browsing the site longer them i would usually and i even bought a apir of shoes.

Its safe when you purchase them from trusted online stores. Most stores these days offer free shipping and free return shipping. So if the shoe do not fit, you can always return them for free. I think purchasing shoe online is better than brick and mortar stores. You can find all the styles in the world with just few clicks, and also be able to purchase them.
