- patent leather (yay!) - natural materials - sporty stripes - prints. All sounds good to me!

This sounds good for me too. Especially Trend: Natural Materials
Straw and cork. Some say it's a nod to the environmental movement. Because natural materials are neutral in color, they match a lot of outfits. One common misconception is that they are casual, but there are tons of dressy options that are perfect for fun dinners outside. I fully agree.

No to mention, neutral shades elongate your leg (or so I've heard!). And yes, I think natural materials are very chic.
