The Ping K15 Hybrid has been designed to give golfers the ultimate in performance and flexibility. The multi-material design of the K15 includes a lightweight titanium face that has allowed 27 grams to be repositioned to the perimeter of the 17-4 stainless steel club head. By using this weight to widen the sole the K15 promotes a much higher ball flight even on those unfortunate misshits while also greatly enhancing the moment of inertia (MOI). Confirming completely with the revised R&A groove rules the Ping K15 golf irons feature a larger clubhead to improve forgiveness and deliver a complete game improvement club.
The Ping G15 Hybrid represents the biggest change from the G10 range with a unique new iron/hybrid design ensuring that this is a club which launches the ball high while keeping the spin rate low. The high launch is achieved by moving the hosel further away from the club’s centre of gravity which, thanks to the unique design, is much closer to the clubface than in most hybrids. Stability and forgiveness are increased by using a large toe pad to provide the Ping G15 hybrid with a much more iron like weight distribution that helps to significantly increase the MOI of the G15 compared to the G10. Ping have also removed almost all the bulge and roll from the clubhead to give that iron like feel and look at address.
The Ping G20 Hybrid features an offset hosel design that produces shots with high launch, low spin resulting in a straight, boring trajectory. A slightly shorter heel-to-toe length ensures the Ping G20 Hybrid is playable from all lies and provides a softer crown shape and flatter lie angle for an improved appearance at address. When the ball is sitting down, additional camber and bounce create exceptional ground impact to ensure a smooth transition through the grass. The Ping G20 Hybrid provides forgiveness and distance through a large, internal weight inside the 17-4 stainless steel head.
