I like the "Onitsuka Tigers" from Asics. Good for all needs. Good grip. Comfortable smooth leather and you can wear them all day.

If you're going to be running more than a mile or two at a time and you have flat feet, it's essential that your sister go to a running store proper (not just a sporting goods store) and get fitted for decent running shoes. They'll watch her run, analyze her gait, and recommend a shoe for her foot. The possibility of injury is WAY too high to risk running in a shoe that doesn't match your biomechanics.

That said, if you're just doing weightlifting, aerobics classes, or running errands, VANMiracle's choice is adorable!

I love the Onitsuka Tigers from Asics. I wore the heck out of mine. I have even bought the same exact pair in the same color and everything when my first pair was worn to the sole!!!! Very comfy and cute, it's the only tennis shoe I own!!!!

I think the Onitsukas from Japan are real understatement sports shoes.
The model MEXICO 66 was introduced in 1966. These original training shoes were the first Onitsuka Tiger shoes with the famous stripes. They were worn at the Mexico Olympic Games of 1968.
Here another pict from the AW07 collection:

To complete the information, I made a screen shot from the range of Onitsuka Tigers from their homepage: Onitsuka Tiger

Pair of asics that I purchased last week....best shoe i've ever run in by far. I been using it for the past 3 years. For a change I just ordered NIKE shoe.

However Just have a look at the latest ""Nike Shox Resistance Trainer SL"" shoe, which I ordered through ""shoedeals4u.com"" to add it to my collections.
