Default wedges to die for--NYC

These were on a woman waiting at the bus stop with me a few days ago in New York City, and I just had to share them with all of you. I don't know the manufacturer, but boy if I did, you can bet I'd be out hunting down a pair right this second!

How adorable are these? The bright red is nubuck and the dark red is pony hair. And what you probably can't tell from the pictures is that these already-awesome wedges are lined in sheepskin. Mmmmm.... cozy.

The stylish lady wearing these revealed to me that when she lived in Japan, her nickname was "Petite Imelda" because her shoe collection was so impressive. She admitted to focusing less on stylish shoes since she came to New York, since she needs shoes she can walk and stand in. But I'd say she's still keeping up a mighty high style quotient.

I think I found them! Well, not exactly this color combo, but the style. Check it out:

They're by Leopoldo Giordano and they're currently $168 at Bluefly (retail price:$350). I prefer the version Jitterbugbaby saw, but now at least we know what to ask for!

I would love these to go with new white mini - which i found in a thrift store i might add. so i can afford to buy these beautiful babies.

WOW....I am stunned and, surprisingly, I love them. Never been a fan of furry feet, but these are adorable!
