I love it when I get comments on a piece of my wardrobe and it turns out to have been from a store like Target. I've got a great vintage 50s-looking skirt that I always get comments on when I wear it. Everyone asks if it's some great thrift store find. But no... it's from H&M.

I usually end up walking out of Target with a pair of shoes each time I go in because they're so cute and reasonably priced, but it's rare that I'll actually end up wearing them more than once or twice because they tend to be uncomfortable or else just not very well constructed, or I end up seeing them in a different (read: cheap) light once I get them home.

Yep, I picked up a Hollywould for Target last year. They're pretty comfy for the price & fashionable for the more for the budget crowd. I think the one thing I notice most on lower priced shoes is that sometimes the synthetics don't breathe as well as the more expensive leathers. Since so many shoes can be re-soled, that's less of a worry to me. Most of us have had ups & downs in finances at different points in our lives & I love that style doesn't always have to come with a large price tag.
Hey, anyone have pics of well-loved bargain shoes? I'll try to dig up some of mine, too. |

target does have some great shoes! I am always surprised at what I find when I go there. I especially like the mossimo brand, really chic shoes for a great price!
