Cowboy boots - Larchmont Village, Cal

These Western inspired cowboy boots were purchased in Nordstroms at the Grove. The nice lady who permitted me to take her picture liked the style and bought the shoes, brand unknown.

The photo was taken in Larchmont Village. When I want to "get away" but don't have the time to drive out of LA, Larchmont is an cozy street with great restaurants and cute (albeit too pricey) boutiques.

All the kiosks in the Caruso shopping centers (Grove, Calabasas, Westlake) are selling the Havaiana sandals - or maybe knock-offs. I was hesitant to buy another pair of flip flops - but I am an addict - so I relented. Love 'em. And at least two of my gal pals got them too. We are a cult. Crocs are dead meat.

These look similar to a pair of boots I saw on a lady in Sephora at the Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, Tennessee.

She paired it with a black floral print dress.

Her friend next to her had on the best pair of gladiator sandals.

I wanted to get their picture, but I had to check out...

Now is the time to start looking at boots. Many stores are clearing space for the new fall lines that are arriving now. IF you want a good cowboy boot, go where the cowboys shop. Sheplers is also a great place to look. These boots are the real deal and will beat designer boots up one side and down the other. (This is an opinion.)
