Miu Miu out and about in NYC

In honor of the springtime goodies at the Miu Miu runway show, here's a peek at a funky pair of Miu Miu platform maryjanes I snapped on the subway the other day.

The woman who who was wearing them said she got them a few years ago at Jeffrey's (a shoe lover's Mecca if ever there was one).

On the contrary, people tend to be flattered. I'd never do it without asking someone's permission, of course, but when I explain the purpose of it and that their shoes are great and will be posted on a blog as examples of good footwear, everyone seems quite pleased. It's a fun exercise.

^ What she said. We're really not that mean. I'd be flattered if someone asked for a picture of one of my garments...as long as it's not a creepy guy lol. I know photobloggers that will stop people who look amazing and ask for a picture just to blog it.

Yeah, I would think that if I went out wearing a pair of Miu Miu's I'd spent upwards of $500 for, I'd feel pretty good if someone went out of their way to notice them and ask me about them.
