Thank you galligator for your reply, i have searched and searched and found a shop in cambridge near to me that actually supply really cool quirky heels that are comfortable! i know you are thinking no surely you cant have comfort and heel in the same sentence but they are amazing honestly! the shop is called sundaes, they have a website called shoegarden! i am going to be ranting and raving about them for a long time to come! i can wear shoes that i like again!! woooo!!

Glad you have found something that works for you.

By the way...lots of magazines have started mentioning that there is a backlash against the super highheels showing. Expect to start seeing more kitten height heels in the fall & definitely by next spring. Welcome news. I know I read somewhere where the opinion was that anything under 3 inches was not sexy, but I don't agree. Height can affect this, but cut & shape of the heel are just as important IMO.

Oh, and another brand you can look out for online is Taryn Rose. A former orthopedic doctor, she tries to design stylish shoes that are comfy and not too high. Chie Mihara and Faryl Robin also have a reputation for comfy, fun & not too high.

Gal... I just read a blurb where Anna Wintour wore flats to a party over last week. They were just white slides with tiniest of wedge heel. If Anna is doing it, I am guessing flats will show up with greater regularity.

Hey I actually work with Taryn Rose and thought I'd put a few pics up from their fall line for those of you that aren't familiar with the brand. Here's Barika, my fav ballet flat, and Celia. Thoughts? Would you guys wear them?

You can check more of them out on the site: Taryn Rose International, Inc.

Jackie, if you haven't already, you ought to set up a Taryn Rose thread in the "shoe store" area of our forums (We don't yet have designer-specific forums, but probably will eventually): http://www.shoeblog.com/forums/shoe-store/

The site owner would probably also love to chat with you since we do brand highlights, reviews, giveaways & the like on our main blog. It's always nice when we can actually talk to people who are working directly with brands and designers. It's a nice chance to get another viewpoint from within the actual shoe industry.

Have a lovely day.
