Sales in the UK

In case nobody had noticed everywhere seems to be indulging in a sale at the moment in the UK.
The standard bunch of shoe retailers like Faith, Office, Dune, Schuh etc are ALL having sales
Go forth happy shoe compadres and buy

What I am loving (in the USA) is the number of styles going on sale at sites like 6pm & amazon.com.

Yes, retailers need to make room for new spring stock. Plus, the weakened global economy had made commercial credit tight, so more retailers are thinning out stock.

The downside, of course, is that next fall when spring styles are on clearance, there will likely be less to choose from based on lower initial stock carried by retailers.

Enjoy it while it lasts, right.

Anyone seen any nice Roman sandals or similar design, in any sales in the UK?
Went past Faith the other day, although couldn't see anything that really caught my eye. Any hunting help would be greatly appreciated.

I, unfortunately, do not have much experience in UK shoe sites. But, here in the US, the search terms you want for 'Roman sandals' are: Gladiator, cage, cutout, strappy. I like sites like Amazon & Modista, since they are designed to search a wide number of shops for stock. I'm not sure if there is a UK equivalent.
