The one in red looks smashing but it will be far more comfortable to wear a bit less heels and white I think will look nice with a white wedding dress.

I think a bride should wear whatever the heck she wants! That aside, I wanted shoes to complement my dress. My gown was intricately beaded so I opted for jeweled shoes (I wanted a pair of intricately beaded Rene Caovillas but thought it would be redundant, and possibly upstage my gown).
The shoes I finally decided on were elegant but the heels were not so high that I might trip. |

I opted for ankle boots because I wanted the ankle support while dancing. I like a 4" heel because it transfers the weight from my heel to my toe, which prevents all of my knee problems (my ankles & knees torque when I put weight on my heel) so I'm actually far more comfortable standing/walking/dancing and even running in high heels. I got some in ivory lace that matched my dress really well. You can see them here

Have you seen the Shop Hey Lady website? They are supposed to be comfy shoes for events where you are on your feet the longest! I'd say check that out!
