can I ask a personal question? Why do you need these specific boots? This is just idle curiosity.

Another poster was willing to pay for information about a specific shoe. I don't know if he ever found the shoe or not. Usually it is just us yacking about where to find a shoe.

wow close to 400 views and i posted this up only a little over a month ago, this is one of the fasting viewing threads thats specified. Of course threads that read "what shoes are you wearing today" and others alike will get more views, but for a thread like this one with close to 400 views in a month is incredible!

Sorry, your answer is incorrect The mystery boot is definitely not an Alberta. I have checked many boots already myself, basically everything online.




These boots have features that are similar to the mystery boot:

- Kenneth Cole Iron Brew Boot Sand Suede matches the mystery boot only by color and only somewhat also, I say the mystery boot has higher quality suede material.


- Terra Plana's saturn boot matches the mystery boots bottom sole, but again only somewhat, because of the the two seperated bottom sole's.


- And, Fly London's Oscar Pull on matches the front top of the mystery, but again only somewhat because of the wide round toe.


I own all of these boots, they all have small similarities to the boot pictures, but are missing all the features together. If I could take out each of those parts and put it together it would come out like the mystery boot.

I'm still looking around when I get time here & there - but this one is a toughie. Hopefully it's not a custom OOAK style.

Yes i also pray this is not a One Of A Kind boot!

Ill keep my optimistic attitude and hope that its not a OOAK because of how many different materials he owns of this boot, looks like he has both leather and suede styles of this boot, hopefully that means its manufactured somewhere or possibly customized by a boot company.

Bootnoob - I am about ready to put this on the 'front page' & see if anyone on the blog-side of our readers recognizes that sole.

My hubby also had an interesting idea re: Vibram. Most of the atheletic shoes & many fashion shoes these days have Vibram soles which are designed to repel oil & such. So, it might be worth it to email a picture & inquiry to Vibram to see if they can identify if they make a sole with that particular pattern for someone. They might be able to lead you to a shoe-design house that uses a custom sole ... It's another avenue to consider.
