...And now I have no idea what shoes would be good for me!
My entire life I have loved shoes! However, I have always bought what's cute and in style. Not what I should be wearing with proper support and cushion. For example, I have an adorable pair of Steve Madden flat sandals (super flat, zero cushion). But now that I have had surgery, I am realizing that I'm going to have to spend a little more and buy better, supportive and cushioned shoes. The surgery I had was for a bunion. It has been six weeks since surgery, and now that I am allowed out of the air cast boot, I have been stuck in my Mizuno running shoes for the past week. While I love my Mizunos, I am in desperate need for more shoe options which will equal more clothing options. :-) The first shoe I am hunting for is a cute, stylish black flat with support and cushion. I want to be able to dress the flat up or down. (IE business casual and casual settings) After much research online today, I have found a few different pairs. I would love it if you guys and gals could please let me know your opinions on these shoes. In addition, if you have any suggestions for cushioned and supportive shoes, please let me know asap! Black Flat Option 1: Annie Karen at Zappos.com Black Flat Option 2: Perlina Luxury Comfort Footwear Mocroco at Zappos.com Black Flat Option 3: Born Sokal (Preto (Black) Patent Leather) - Arch Support Thank you in advance! I really appreciate everyone's input! |

Also look at Nota Bene shoes. I had a pair that I gave to my mom-in-law who has bunions. They are one of the only nice heeled shoes she can wear comfortably.
Chic Comfort Shoes for Active Women: Nota Bene Shoes for Women She has the 'nicole' the toe-box is longer to prevent squishing & it's overall a very cute shoe. Last edited by galligator : 09-22-2009 at 11:52 AM. |
