Well in the 4 polls I have up and running on various forums I have to say that the response has been brilliant and I have had a total of over 300 votes to pick me a pair of shoes for my marathon of a walk next year. To date the most popular three pairs in order of popularity is
1st SEDUCE 208 - 76 VOTES
2nd DELIGHT 667 - 62 VOTES
3rd KISS 209 - 52 VOTES
Personally after a bit of consideration I believe i may suffer badly wearing the SEDUCE style as the insoles are not padded and the soles are thin. The style is ideal offering good support and for this reason if SEDUCE wins the poll I just might pick the DELIGHT 667 which is a similar style offering good support but if the largest size is a bit tight I may go for the KISS style. All styles except for the DELIGHT 609 is available in pink which is what colour I will be wearing

just a quick update to let people know that i am in the proceeds of trying to get a couple of local celebs involved. they are two men who went out one evening dressed as women and ending up being attacked by a couple of yobs. the men dressed as women are actually cagefighters and as the saying goes ”the rest is history” you can view the story at

since the event the two local lads who were attacked have decided to turn their new found fame by raising money for charity.

I saw this article! I gotta tell you, these lads were the WORST looking cross dressers ever. I did get a laugh out of it all.

I love the "turned out to be cage fighters". I've heard about UK issues with "Chavs" & such & am glad that is less common here (though unfortunately not completely unheard of). Really, what is the deal people have with other folk's mode of dress being seen as a threat? There are real problems out there for small-minded people to become violent over a mode of dress...

I think people find cross-dressing to be incongruous & react in different ways. That is probably the point in the whole men-in-heels charitable event...we are not used to it, so it really grabs our attention. As to cross-dressers, two of the best-dressed at steamcon were a pair of drag queens in full-victorian day-dress. They made most of us other women there look positively underdressed.

Weren't these Halloween costumes?
Anyways, one of the most fun nightclubs I have been to was in New Orleans. It was a drag nightclub. The men were prettier than the women were. RuPaul is another example of gorgeousness.
