The other thing is the fit of the shoe. If I wear a pair of Steven Maddens all day long, I am crippled the next couple of days. If I wear a pair of Cole Haans with similar heel height and similar wear, I am ok the next day. It is not the heel height, but really the fit of the shoe. Those shoes, if they are Pleasers, would burn a blister in my foot before I could get warmed up because of the shoe manufacturer.
I think your observation that women will wear a pair of shoes for a day and complain about their feet hurting, while you were able to walk in platforms and not feel the burn, is a bit unfair. Many times the issue is not a day, or a pair of shoes, but more about a professional lifetime of shoes that fit bad, or may have been too high, creating a myriad of problems with feet.
I know this is a light hearted challenge, and I don't want to make it a "Girls are always right" issue, or make it a serious deal, because I know it is not. I just had to give my 2 cents worth. Good luck with the challenge.
