    Default Lucite Mules

So, clear plastic heels- why the negative image? I've got a pair I wear to the pool, and I love them- only a 1" platform, not the silly-looking 2 1/2" you see the girls in rock videos with, but what's with the term "stripper shoes"? My friends tease me about them while swimming, but I don't see the problem...

Clear heels do have sort of a reputation of being for "strippers" and such, heck even the comedian Chris Rock does a funny routine about a woman who wears clear heels. As for me, clear heels that have a high heel and high platform may meet the stripper image, but there are some styles out there that are elegant and not extreme. Onex makes some clear hh sandals that are beautiful, and I would not consider "stripper" like. Instead they look classy. sfhh

I so agree! Unfortunately, my friends don't, and when I leave my beautiful 5"s parked by the side of the pool, they tease me. Besides, most girls don't have the amazing figure exotic dancers have, and can't wear stilettos anyway. I have to work out every day to maintain my "V"...
