I feel like this shoe had potential, but then someone kept going and killed it. Maybe it was the studs? It's on steep discount at Saks, though.

Wooden clogs are a no-no for me from the get-go, so however it's dressed up, it's unwearable--to me, anyway. I need flexibility, cushioning, and low heel, and these provide none. And you're probably right, studs+multicolor flowers=overkill.

I'm kind of ambivalent about clogs. They're cute and have lots of potential, but whenever I buy a pair I never wear them. Last year I bought a pair of Dr. Scholl's cable sweater clogs that were fun, but I never wore them (too impractical for walking around the city). That said, I agree with you on the details. Sometimes less is more!!
Yeah, that's just a few steps too far to be cute. I'm a fan of clogs in general, but it's sometimes hard to find a pair that's both non-wooden (a must for me) and stylish.
