    Default Keep or return?

These are Via Spiga boots that I fell in love with. I wanted a wedge boot (not so easy to find, turns out). I had a hard time getting them - when I finally found a pair in my size I had to jump on them. The leather smells sooo good; they're really nice boots. Now, though, I'm wondering if they're too "biker chick", which is really not my style. I'm a very feminine, not-tough-at-all kind of gal. I still have time to return them (Zappos is great), and they weren't cheap so I want to really like them if I'm going to keep them. And I'm just not sure!! So what do you think? What do they say to you?

Personally, I think they're beautiful, but it's of course up to you if they fit in with your personal style. I don't think they're that harsh--but they're definitely stylish with a little bit of edge. OTOH, Neiman has a ton of wedge boots and they've literally been everywhere, so I'm surprised you've had such a rough time finding them!

I also think they're gorgeous. The leather does indeed look rich and soft. I don't think they're too "biker," but they've certainly got a bit of an edge to them. I think the way the wedge and toe are shaped is still very feminine, though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. They look great with the blue color of the skirt you're wearing in the pictures.

I don't think they're too biker at all. Why don't you keep them around for a week or so and see how you feel about wearing them on any given day? That's what I do.

Definitely not too biker, but if you're still having doubts (and it sounds like you are) keep them around for a bit and see how you feel. You have nothing to lose.
