    Default Singing in the rain...

...more like cursing if you're wearing shoes that are not waterproof. With spring upon (and probably April showers), I'm wondering if anyone has found cute rain shoes. After yesterday's sleet storm in Philly, I decided it was time to buy a pair of rain boots. The black Steve Maddens I bought for $29.99 are functional and fine, but I was left wondering if there are any other alternatives (esp. when it's super hot in the summer). Thoughts?

I always liked the Kate Spade rubber flats--like these: kate spade. Functional and cute for summer, too flimsy for the fall, though.

I just found a few more rain boots on Plueys.com. One of my favorites there is the Go Fish! boot.

I keep seeing these really cute rain boots, so I have to post them! Stuart Weitzman 'Drizzle' Pink wedgies, $129 at Gotham City Online (also, available in all sizes).

I LOVE those Plueys boots! So adorable. I've never seen myself as much of a rain person, though. I'm curious... when I went to the website, it told me that "people who bought these also bought..." and had several pictures of other rain boots. Why does anyone need more than one pair? Maybe if you live in Seattle, I guess.

Yeah, I don't know why you'd need multiple pairs of rain boots. I can see having a rain boot and a rain shoe (for when it's warm and rainy), and maybe a rain boot with some sort of insulation for the really cold rainy/snowy days. But beyond that... not so much.

Ok, so I think a need a pair of these:

The Karin style from Tretorn comes in lime, fuchshia, brown, and yellow, and best of all, they're on sale--now $45 (down from $75). Perfect for trotting around in that spring/summer rain, looking fabulously cute!

Default Western Chief rain boots and clogs

Ok, so once I get going on a topic, I can't stop! Check out these cute boots and rain clogs from Western Chief:

...so, ok, they might not work that well if you're, say, over 17, or need to get outside the yard, but cute nevertheless!!!
