Default Searching for the perfect wedge

Have you ever noticed that when you start a search for the perfect (fill in the blank here) shoe, you can't find it? (Mind you, I have no problem finding shoes I love if I'm just browsing). I'm looking for a wedge sandal for summer in a nude, beige color. Can't find one! Has anybody come across anything lately that caught your eye?

I have exactly the same problem. I feel like I'm on a permanent search for two "perfect"'s: a knee-high brown leather dress boot with a little heel (both little as in height and overall size... chunky heels need not apply) and a flat, pointy-toe brown leather ankle boot. The second one is an attempt to foresee the inevitable destruction of the pair I have now, that I wear all the time.

But no, they are not to be mine. If I find something like what you're after, I'll make sure to post it here.

On Shoes.com:

- Geox for $100:

Zappos has quite a few choices, but I always loved these Bruno Magli playful wedges ($210):

And finally, check out these results at Nordstrom. Some worthy candidates there.

Well that should make things...more complicated!!!! But that's what's fun about shoe shopping.

I'm sorry, I forgot one of my absolute favorites, these Tory Burch 'Susie' espadrilles, currently on sale for just under $120:

They're a bit high for me, or I would have purchased them in a heartbeat!

I think I found a nearly perfect wedge for you:

They're Prada and also available with white, black, and red trim. So, if you've got approximately $400 burning a hole in your pocket, I'd give these some serious consideration! (If not....forget it!!!)
