How To Improve Your Golf Game

There are many different things to know, to play better golf. Here are a few tips to help you on the course. One good tip my dad gave me was, it is better to be 150 yards straight than 250 in the bush. My ego would always want my shot to be the one with the most distance with taylor made burner 2.0 irons. Distance doesn't matter if you are not accurate. Working on the quality of every shot is key. Here are some things to improve the quality and accuracy of you game.

The Putting Stroke

The length of your back swing should always be shorter than your follow through. Too many people bring the putter back, then try to judge the speed they should hit the ball. This will not bring good results. Your follow through is what determines the length of your put with rbz irons for sale. It doesn't matter if it is a 2, 10, or 40 foot put. The follow through is what will determine the length of your shot. Give this some practice on a putting green and keep track of the distance of the back swing and your follow through. You will soon be able to get closer to the cup and stop 3 and 4 putting. If you think about it, 3 put, times 18 holes = 54. Now 2 times 18 = 36! You just improved your game by 18 strokes. "HUGE"

Sand Trap Shots

Here is another difficultly for most golfers. Your shot either doesn't come out of the bunker or you clear the green. The reason is the sand wedge has a bounce on it, a curve. The club face leading edge is up off the ground, so you need to get that edge under the ball. You want to put your weight on your forward leg and lean the rbz irons handle forward. This will allow the leading edge to get under the ball. This will pop the ball right out of the sand. You will have to give a sand shot a good swing. Your sand wedge is built to pop the ball up in the air when hit correctly. Getting the leading edge of the club face under the ball is the key.

Your Grip On The Club

You may have a hook or a slice. 90 % of the time the correct grip will determine the flight path of your ball. When gripped properly your club face has to be square on the ball at impact. Take your taylormade 2.0 irons for sale and grip it how you normally would. Now take a practice swing, but stop your swing just before contact with the ball. Look at the club face and check to see if it is square on the ball. If it is "open" you will slice the ball. If it is "closed" you will hook the ball. Correct your grip to get the club head square to the ball, at point of contact. Remember not to grip the club with a death grip, nor too loose.
