Sgn Giancarlo Paoli

I found these boots on Yoox, in my size, and at a great discount ($99 instead of $250):

The problem is, I know NOTHING about this brand--"SGN GIANCARLO PAOLI". Sound like an Italian generic brand, but again, what do I know. They do look nice and practical--just the color and the relative styling I needed at the right price. Any thoughts? Anybody heard of this brand before?
