Default Aldo Sizing

Hi! I'm new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone knows whether to go up or down in size in Aldo shoes since they don't care 1/2 sizes.

Thanks

I'd say yes. It is always better to have a shoe that is half a size larger than one that is half a size smaller. I bought a pair of Aldo shoes in 37.5 because they fit snuggly and didn't fall the back when I walked. However, when I took them home and wore them around the house for a bit, I decided they were just too tight everywhere else. I exchanged them for a 38, put a heel liner in them and now they fit great. They are not tight anywhere and they don't fall off my feet. Win win situation!

Yeah, I agree with June.

Whenever you're in doubt, go the half size up. You can always insert something to make the shoe fit a bit more snugly, but there's not much you can do if the shoe's too small.

I find Aldo sizing a bit off. They call an 11 a size 41 when proper sizing an 11 is actually a 42.
