xmas help please (im a bloke and have no idea )

hi all, hope you can help.

Im a bloke and i want to get a nice pair of shoes for my significant other for xmas. ive already got her a digi camera and a new jacket so my budget is ideally £125 though i would go to £150 for a nice pair

Im looking for something pretty and elagant like her she likes black shoes that she can wear with a dress for dinners or work functions. if it helps she is 27.

I know nothing about shoes and it all confuses me as to why the 20 quid pair in matalan arent the same as the designer label ones lol

As im already good with ebay and i trade on there i have been having a look. the only brand name i know is Jimmy Choo (from being made to watch sex in the city)

They however are slightly out of my reach so i was hoping that someone could help me with some other good brand names for shoes or even better links that i may be able to afford

In the moderate range you could look at Charles David for styles that can be either conservative or dressy. I found them to be very comfortable, and while they are not really cheap, neither are they too expensive for the comfort you gain. If she likes showy or fun shoes, you can look at Beverly Feldman, Betsey Johnson, or Naughty Monkey. Steve Madden shoes are also pretty available and popular with younger ladies.

There are ton's of online shopping sites out there. Maybe she could set up a wish list at one of them. Some of the larger ones are: Zappos.com, Shoes.com, Shoemall.com, Heels.com, Onlineshoes.com, 6pm.com (limited sizes and quantities but is Zappos clearance site), Bluefly.com (Designer clearance prices). Most of them offer overnight shipping if that is important to you.
