To look at: Lately it's been the uber feminine & over-the-top designs by Prada/Miu Miu, Gucci, Valentino.

To wear, I have just a high enough arch & not quite 'wide' foot that the more comfortable fashion shoes I wind up with for comfort shape are generally actually Madden Girl, Betsey Johnson, Kenzie, Seychelles & Guess. Still not cheap, but they seem to have the best shoe lasts to fit my foot without discomfort most of the time. Though, I have about 30 different brands in my closet. Yes, I do have a bit of a shoe compulsion, thank you very much

I have a link in the 'my new shoe closet' thread that actually links to an online photo album (mostly stock pics since modelling & real life pics take time away from family & the writing I've started to do on the shoeblog) where you can get a feeling for what I am drawn toward.

I always think it's interesting how we will buy shoes that look basically the same to someone else, but to us, they are just enough different to make us think 'Ooh I want that - it is so different from what I already have'.

So far, Prada is the only one that felt was unique enough to have spent over $250 for any styles, although last season's jewelled Miu Mius were pretty divine, even if I would probably never have found an occasion to wear them in my little hick corner of heaven. Oops, sometimes my excitement over the new house & small acreage seep through.

Ok, ramble over - for now.

1.) Not everybody posts photos.

2.) Folks can post photos after 5 non-spam posts. Really, that's not an insurmountable task.

3.) Some listings expire. It's not the forums job to update info that is months or years old.

4.) Some photo links expire if users move or delete content.

5.) Members can start new threads instead of reviving old ones & post their own 'modeling' or wish-list shots & we'd all love to see that.

6.) Lots of folks come here for 'help me find' & post news links that often expire or archive to new addresses. We do what we can, but all of us work & have families/lives outside of these forums, so this is usually a spare-time attempt to help forum members.

7.) You like photos? By all means, post some in a relevant or new thread.

I'd like to know the same thing.
I'm ready to buy them online if I have to though.

I bought a great pair of shoes online from this web site: moccasin.co.uk
the moccasins are really nice and comfortable with real deerskin suede uppers and leather soles which have rubber dimples so you don't slip about on a wet day.
I see they also sell comfy slippers
