Louboutin Manicure

I just read about the "Louboutin Manicure" that is offered at a salon in London. Is this a new trend or am I a late adopter? In any case, I love the look and will definitely be trying it out. Maybe for New Year's! I think it would be pretty easy to do yourself too. Probably Wet and Wild has the right shades.

I know these have been around for at least a year - a trendy variation on the French Tips styles.

But, I'm a short nail gal myself. Longer nails make be feel almost handicapped & get in the way of everything from typing to breadmaking for me, so I leave the long pretty nails for ladies who have the patience to deal with how longer nails change your grip for everyday things.

I'm a short-nails gal too, galligator but for a special occassion when I really want to dress up I'll get acrylics. But not the stripper length nails; I keep it to a moderate, squared length so that I can actually function in my real life I like the black with red idea but that might be a bit to goth-y for me so I'm going to try black with pink underneath. It might be an old trend but it's still a fun look to try, I think! I'll have to do a better job staying on top of my beauty news!

I had Acrylics on for 3 days around Halloween this year. They were really cute - but I spent lots of time on the computer & I was SO GLAD to have them off. I wouldn't mind moderate lengths, but just this week 3 of my nails snapped so everything is (Again) trimmed almost to the quick. I suppose longer nail manicures are just not for me

Oh Well.
